Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Radiographer (Band 6) to join a community medical imaging team. This role is critical in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients, delivering accurate and timely results that aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. You will work alongside a team of professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

* Perform general radiographic procedures and ensure high-quality imaging results. * Assist in the preparation and positioning of patients for diagnostic examinations. * Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data confidentiality. * Collaborate with medical staff to provide comprehensive patient care. * Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure operational effectiveness. * Adhere to health and safety regulations and protocols at all times. * Provide guidance and support to junior radiography staff and students.

Required Skills:

* Certification in Diagnostic Radiography. * Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). * Proven experience as a Radiographer, preferably at a Band 6 level. * Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques and equipment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. * Commitment to patient care and confidentiality.
