PRIVATE DUTY NURSE (RN/LPN) – 1:1 HOME CARE

JOB SUMMARY

Centria Healthcare is hiring compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide 1:1 private duty nursing in patients’ homes. You’ll deliver skilled, personalized care to pediatric and adult patients in a low-stress, relationship-based setting.

CLIENT DETAILS

Our client is a 25 year old male who is non-mobile, stays in a hospital bed in the living room, and requires ongoing trach, ventilator, and g-tube management. He was diagnosed with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, a severe form of epilepsy characterized by multiple types of seizures that typically begin in early childhood. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

* Clinical Care: Main responsibilities will include trach, ventilator, and g-tube management and he has a history of Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome.

* Supportive Family: The client’s wife is known for being exceptionally kind and easy to work with, fostering a respectful professional atmosphere. * Environment: Very clean, pet free home

SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY

We are looking to fill the following 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM shifts:

* Every day

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide skilled nursing care (trach/vent care, medication administration, catheter care) * Monitor and document patient condition and vital signs * Communicate with families and care teams * Maintain safe, high-quality, patient-centered care

SCHEDULE & PAY

* Full-time and part-time shifts available * Day, night, and weekend shifts * Weekly pay + optional daily pay * Competitive pay based on experience

QUALIFICATIONS

* Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan * Home care or private duty experience preferred (not required) * Trach/vent experience a plus (training provided) * Strong communication and critical thinking skills

PATIENT POPULATION

* Pediatrics (birth–21 years) * Adults with complex medical needs
