PEDIATRIC PRIVATE DUTY NURSE (RN)

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one clinical care for a pediatric patient in a home setting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pediatric seizure management.

CLINICAL REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Seizure Management: Monitoring and intervention for epilepsy; proven pediatric seizure experience is required. * G-Tube Care: Administration of scheduled feedings and medications via Gastrostomy tube. * Ostomy Care: Routine management and maintenance of an ostomy bag. * Assessment: Continuous monitoring of respiratory and neurological status

🕒 SHIFT TIMES

* 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM - Monday * 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM- Wednesday * 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM-  Wednesday & Sunday * 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM- Thursday

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide skilled nursing care (trach/vent care, medication administration, catheter care) * Monitor and document patient condition and vital signs * Assist with daily living activities (ADLs) * Communicate with families and care teams * Maintain safe, high-quality, patient-centered care

SCHEDULE & PAY

* Full-time, part-time, and per diem shifts available * Day, night, and weekend shifts * Weekly pay + optional daily pay * Competitive pay based on experience

QUALIFICATIONS

* Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan * Home care or private duty experience preferred (not required) * Trach/vent experience a plus (training provided) * Strong communication and critical thinking skills

* Pediatrics (birth–21 years) * Adults with complex medical needs
